As the hours roll slowly by, I'm afraid to close my eyes
And face the demons there inside
As the skin calls for the blade, thoughts of You begin to fade
In the midnight sky
O God, can you hear my cry?

Deliver me this night, I pray
I believe You when You say
You will rescue me again
Even from the lions' den

As it grinds against my will, I am fighting to sit still
And not move in for the kill
As my hands begin to burn, it gets harder and harder to turn
Away from the lie
That You cannot hear my cry

Deliver me this night, I pray
I believe You when You say
You will rescue me again
Even from the lions' den

You who calmed the stormy seas,
Can You calm the storm in me?
If You came to set me free,
Then set me free

Very well done track
As far as what I could tell you to do better, I have nothing
to say! Love the brushes on the drums. Nice touch.

Re: Very well done track
actually, what you're hearing is a cajon with an intermittent egg shaker. we
decided to go with the "impromptu living room jam" sound with this one,
stripping it down to the two acoustics and percussion. glad you enjoy it!

Love that guitar riff
This is a really cool tune. I love that guitar riff. Great
powerful singing.

One thing is missing though. Where's the bass?

V Good!
This is something of a rocking E.P.! Another cracking
tune, though agree with the last comment that I really
wanted a nice bass guitar to kick in. nothing else, just a
simple bass line. What to do I know though.
