Description
alackbass posted a track that had as its opening motif a sequence G-7 to D7#5 ... that intrigued me so I was moved to start this! ... THIS is what happens when you can't sleep at night! ;)

Move it
Love the chord progression on this. Happy music. Good sounds and well played. Will you add vocals or some kind of lead melody? Seems to be crying out for something. Nice stuff.

Coffee
I'm considering re-posting this under 'open collaborations' because I agree it needs some sort of 'lead' line or vocal ... I certainly appreciate the listen and comment however! :)

Cool
Oh this is so Carlos Santana I can just heare his PRS overlayed on this but you've given it it's own unique twist. Can't help tap your feet to this. Played it twice already. Good Stuff all involved

Thanks!
Thanks Pock! I'm considering 'wiping' the 'electric guitar' I used and using a better 'guitar' patch that'll stand out better in the track ... I appreciate the listen! :)

I loved this!!!
This is a very rollicking samba! I love this stuff--you did great Scotty! I can't hear anything else to be added on top of this, but one idea: I think the last half goes on a bit too long--I know a lot of people doing electronic music say it's "cheating" to do a fade out, but with a samba beat, it's a natural, so my suggestion would be to fade out around the 3 minute mark (and it would still be about the length of the average track). Please do more like this! Thanks again--Michael

Thanks!
I appreciate the listen and comment Michael! Two things I will say however ... One, admittedly I'm still learning Sonar so I have to go 'under the hood' to learn how to fade out a track ... Two, I have the 'outro' long because hopefully I'll find a screaming guitar player who'll be able to 'take it home' ... I certainly appreciate the comment and critique though! Thank YOU again! :)

I've had a passion for music dating back to being a very young child and seeing The Beatles on Ed Sullivan along with being exposed to jazz and classical by my non-musician parents and Motown by my youngest Aunt. I started playing electric bass in '7... [see more]
