Artist's description:
my best guess - 1975

the three of us just made it up as we went along

recorded on cassette with a couple of incredibly cheap electroharmonic mics that my aunt Rosemary gave me. She worked there and got stuff really dirt cheap. And they -still- made a profit... we are talking -cheap!-

the Irainian (he insisted Persian) drummer thought it was like Mahavishnu Orchestra - I beg to differ - but at least he got us to listen to lots of progressive jazz fusion. That was nice.

This was an incarnation of the band that played Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Argent, Grand Funk Railroad, Fog Hat... and some other crap I can't remember... and a bunch of pretty boring "originals".

This will -not- impress any guitar players for sure.

As Allenone wisely said.... distortion is God's gift to bad guitarists.... he right - that's why I killed amps without mercy.

Contributors:
I used my four track to pull this off tape into cool edit - EQ the whole mix and then parametric EQ on each channel separately. The bass drum is probably lost forever except for those peculiar moments when it actually peeks out.

Frank – Bass with his 200 watt ampeg bass head into a single monster 18 inch speaker.

Moshen - drums on a Jazz set – I do remember he like Zildjian cymbals a lot.

Chris – I think it was a Univox Stratocaster copy – triple humbucking pick ups.

Like this but with a white body

I don’t remember my amplifier…
Oh well. I had quite a few that ended up with blown speakers or smoked electronics when I tried chaining them in search of sustain and endless feedback....

Inspiration:
because we were really bored?
