Descent Into Darkness

Description
A track for the trailer for the working title of a movie in progress...It's a contest by invitation, I am flattered that I was asked, however I have heard some of the other submissions and they are much better than mine I think, I mean I am a rookie at this stuff and never intended to try to get work, but it is a good experience and it's fun trying...(It's a work in progress, have not submitted yet)

"I have heard some of the other submissions and they are much better than mine"

I'm finding that difficult to believe. Yours is pretty damn good.

SO9, I always look forward to your posts. You are very talented in this genre and I am envious. Your thinking is outside the box and that makes your music exciting to listen to. Killer.

C. Franke-n-stunned
This has hints of Christopher Franke (ex-Tangerine Dream, soundtrack to Babylon-5)... a little more sprinkled dissonance and some reversed choir effects, and you'd be right there! :) Love it.

Full of suspense
Exciting piece. The production is good but may be a tail of the same hall reverb very slightly may bring them all into the same space and not like separate sounds or libraries. A small point but the sonicality was still top notch. Grand performance

Nice work. You masterfully mix orchestral elements with electronic music, and you have lots of interesting and creative things going on here. Lots of unconventional thinking taking place. Lastly, but not leastly, you do a great job of creating suspense and building and holding (and ultimately releasing) tension throughout. Best of luck with this one - I much enjoyed!

Heavy duty!
It could fit all sorts of possible scenarios and visuals. The tension is palpable. (Isn't that the usual quote?) Thumbs up and fingers crossed, Dave. Cheers.
