Lyrics
i'm alone
on this ocean
as the water rushes over me
i'm far from home
and the commotion
salt and water make a sailos tea
a fisherman
from nova scotia
pulls a life out of the very sea
when he can
he gets the notion
the open ocean's
where he'll always be

when he dreams he dreams of water

just like a knife through the center of emotion
this is a life that can take you away
like a song that sings like leonard cohen
jesus the sailor
at least thats what they'd say
took the first step out on the water
had no trouble getting over the waves
wished his kids could one day join him
he see's the light as he heads for open water

so this is home
the open ocean
with his hopes down underneath
a strand of rope
into the darkness
while the elements
show their teeth

when he dreams he dreams of water

just like a knife through the center of emotion
this is a life that can take you away
like a song that sings like leonard cohen
jesus the sailor
at least thats what they'd say
took the firstt step out on the water
had no trouble getting over the waves
wished his kids could someday join him
he see's the light
as he heads for open water

i'm alone
on this ocean
as the water rushes over me
far from home
and the commotion
salt and water want to bury me
a fisherman
from nova scotio
pulls a life out of the bering sea
when he can he gets the notion
the open ocean's
where he'll always be.............

Opean ocean!
The quality of your voice is awesome! I love a good song that tells a story about the ocean or something related to it. I myself grew up in one of the richest seas in the world, the sea of Cortez in the Baja California Peninsula!

Very cool song!
