1.5 update: Improved mastering slightly to be less harsh
Still a WIP. A piece written in more-or-less three days. These past two weeks have been back and forth between emotional, and quiet, represented by the many pauses. This is also my first piece that I first wrote on paper before transferring it to the computer. Thank you for listening.

This is a nice little piece, very spry. know you are going for a solo piece here and it stands alone in that aspect but have you considered strings underneath the melody. I am not sure how you are recording the piano but it sounds a bit "covered up" to me. By that i mean that it doesn't seem like all of the dynamic tones are present...may be the mic. Small nit, but just what i am hearing. Nice job!

Useful Feedback :)
I know what you are saying, and I think that's my fault with the current mastering. Thanks for listening.

The idea of someone composing on paper before the instrument baffles me.
I enjoyed this. Sounds good to my uneducated guitar tuned ears.
Top stuff

Don't get me wrong, I composed it WITH my instrument. It's just usually I compose aided with my computer.

Good start.
I hope you will continue composing and trying out your ideas first on paper and then in performance. You have some good ideas here that could perhaps be developed more, but it sure is better to have ideas than none at all. Learning to write music is much like learning to write in any language: you have to take small steps, learn the grammar and syntax -- harmony and counterpoint -- and then study styles and genre. Not an overnight process, but a pursuit that is worth spending a lifetime exploring. ... Please write more. I would love to hear it.
