Description
It's not really baroque , but that is what I was aiming for.
I composed and recorded it on the fly , and just wanted to upload it to have a record of it , just in case i loose it , like I have with other pieces.
Anyway I hope it does not grate on the ears of you real guitar players out there.
I am keyboard player that wants to be a guitar player every now and then.

Maybe not Baroque...
...but still very pleasant to listen to on a Saturday morning. Thanks for posting.

Segovian
Lovely piece, i think. i see a fountain in a Spanish court, orange trees and languid pools rippling in a gentle, sunny breeze, perhaps playing alone, or with a small, quiet audience.

i wish i could play something like that, let alone compose it as well!

Definitely could see Segovia playing this, bent over his instrument with his improbable sausage fingers finding all the right notes.

Ends a little abruptly perhaps?

Really enjoyed this. Thank you.

Cheers

Marc

Now there's a new genre - Segovian .
I only wish I could play like Segovia , but I will keep at the music and maybe someday , just maybe I will .
But I am in no hurry just yet there are too many other styles and things to learn before I get there.
Thanks so much for your kind words and taking the time to comment.
Loved the lyrics to your song No Road by the way.

Worth recording.
Your guitar playing sounds fine to me. Certainly many levels above my own. Lovely song. Improvised on the spot? I am impressed.

Hey Cormac
You wrote and played this?! Then you're definitely too modest. Sounds great to me. I couldn't even dream of playing this good. And the composition seems just fine to me, (whether baroque or not). Great achievment! Kudos, my friend.

thanks Henke
I played it on a keyboard not a guitar , just in case people think I have 22 fingers or something.
Thanks so much for giving it the thumbs up , despite the flaws here and there .
I really enjoyed your Summer10 , I didn't know what to expect from the start and then it unfolded like a movie. I put it on my mp3 player.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
I hope the Christmas was good for you and your family and I wish the year ahead is full of inspiration .
Thanks again Henke.

Must admit
I am a bit confused about this. If you had actually played the guitar on this, that would have been totally awesome, but I'm not sure if it is any less fantastic to get this "real" sound playing the keyboard. I mean, it sounds as if played on a guitar with all the little hesitations (as if changing the grip(?)) and accents and stuff you would expect. Really well done.

At the moment I am pretty stressed out by work, but yeah, hopefully there will be a little more music of my own this year. I am thinking of upgrading my mac as well, and if that happens I guess I would like to take the music apps for a test drive ;-) All the best for you and yours as well. Thanks. /H

I compose music ( but cant read it ). My stuff is simple and atmospheric. Mostly one takes and one offs. My music is instrumental and I try to compose in different genres. I have learned most of what I know way way back from two people , my friend... [see more]
