Another redux of an old [U-D-R] song. I'm still struggling with trying to fully remaster songs here in Korea as I'm limited by what I brought with me.

Sometimes you get, what you want. Sometimes they even ask, what you want. Then you realize how insignificant you are. When you understand, you mean nothing. Soon you'll come to realize as I have. The entire human fucking race, is nothing, but a virus!

•verse 1
I don't want your sympathy, please don't ease my pain. I just want the only thing I could never gain. Turn off all the lights now, hide yourself from me. You can't show me anything that I don't want to see.

You can take the anger that is growing in my darkened eyes. You will find your answers deep within this hallowed mind. Everything I give you is completely tainted and impure. I am not the only one that would give my life for you.

Emotions turn to hate, confusion takes it's place. The future can't be set, though we cease and we submit.

•verse 2
I don't want the truth from you, please just tell me lies. I can't take your honesty before I close my eyes. Wasted youth, stolen dreams, everything's so clear. I wont believe anything that I could ever hear.

First: I'm always excited to see a new post from you! Glad to see you're still hard at work at the board. This is an imaginative song with a slightly sinister and relentless drive.

Second: Lot's of sonic candy here! Your use of the classic dance synth is tasty and the EQ shaping between the voices really makes the arrangement pop. The bass rumble is incredible - lots of energy drawn out of those low freqs.

Thoughts: On my speaker system there seems to be a deficit in the mid freqs. You might have room to bring them up a bit - especially considering how much bass is pumping through. Also, the extra-wide spread on some of the vocals gets lost in the mix at some points - again, as it sounds on my speakers.

Hope all is well. Great post!

Hey guys
Thanks for the input. I really am struggling with trying to get things "just right" with my 7509 headphones. Especially some of my old reworked material since it was made of mud to begin with ; )

On downloads... to be completely honest, I'm keeping the newest versions of old stuff and anything else I write while I'm over here as preview only. I'm plotting an evil and nefarious scheme to start selling music O.o

Never fear, I'm still very much in the mindset that friends, DJs and promoters don't pay. More info on that later.

[U-D-R] began it's existence as a remix project dating back to 1996. I used an old "mod" editor called Meditor to remix songs by Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM and Leæther Strip. I tried to write some original compositions in that program, but found it ve... [see more]
