Well here it is ~
a completely new version
Playing in F# worked better for this original tune -
my previous version had some shorts and had to be grounded.
And the levels were too hot.
This version came out more 'glossy'.
I like the harmonics of F# more here.
They don't seem as dull as F.
So Joe Jackson - wherever you are -
this is your key - he most always picks F#.

This song's bridgework here is also different than the first version.

My Cousin O. in the picture is wondering why he cannot take to the sky.
He is grounded.
I also have not flown since 1997. (in a plane)
Since 9-11 I enjoy being grounded.

thanks for coming back - really.

Its really
great how you can just change key and replay a song this complex with that much ease.

Excellent Scott.

Your playing is fantastic! I love the recording tone.

Really uplifting this. What a gift you have.

Some old mansion houses i get dragged round occasionally have pianos looking forlorn in dusty corners, with a little note on them saying if anyone wants to play, they are welcome as they go round. How i have fantasised about really being able to transform the whole room in an instant with some nifty ivory tickling, but sadly, i can hardly play the guitar as it is!

You, on the other hand, could make the day a blessed memory for everyone fortunate enough to be walking by.

Great stuff, Scott.

this sounds just as beautiful as the other key to me... you must feel more satisfaction that it sounds better to your ears. The first version was excellent, so that and the precision in your playing shows you're a perfectionist. I saw something on TV the other day that said how musical chord affect people and A and G were quite bright, but C left a low mundane feel with most people , regards M

I agree
much brighter Key, I love those Joe Jackson songs, let's write a song in this key! I could almost write a song to this, Scott, again I will say I absolutely love the way you play, I 'm getting to where I think I could pick you out of a piano line up, this is awesome! Amazing how a half step can make such a difference, 1 small half step for a man 1 huge leap for mankind!
