Okay,
no deep, dark demon voice. You're channeling some folky from the 30's. It sounds like a melancholy song from the depression. Now, I have to get used to this warmer, more human voice. Very moving. Adam. Thanks.

I don't put on my big boy voice all the time. For something like this I wanted a closer, more intimate sound.

I've done vocals before, but always in the context of a death metal type band. Clean vocals and songwriting only recently took off.

I'm knocked out by the way you're using the piano in this. It adds depth and darkness. The slow and gradual build in the guitar and vocal (dynamically) is also very well done. Great post!

The original sheet music was "interesting" according to the player, who is working on a cleaner version of it.
