UNDONE
Music/Kevin Cosley©2010
Lyrics/Vocals By Billy Attwell©2010

I’ve learnt some things
About myself
Now the day is done
When all around have kept their heads
Mine’s been in the clouds
Now I’m undone

When all around have kept their heads
Mine’s been in the clouds
Now I’m undone
I’ve come undone

I’ve come undone
I’ve come undone

I’ve always been the joker
I’ve always played the fool
Genetically wired up so wrong
I swim in a different pool
Alone inside the crowd
So different from the rest
I’ve walked the line of madness
I think it’s for the best
I’ve come undone
I’ve come undone

But do you see......me?...... do you finally understand?
I need a helping hand.......coz I’m undone
& can you finally feel...... something for me now
That I’m undone?

Counting hairs on the back of my hand
I live inside this hell
Boxed inside my own mind
Within this padded cell
I’m so undone
I’m so undone

Counting hairs on the back of my hand
I live inside this hell
Locked inside my own mind
Within this padded cell
I can come undone.

There's a very big Pink Floyd vibe here (I love that). The acoustic beginning, the Waters style vocal, the dark lyrics, synth textures during the acoustic section, and the reverb drenched lead guitar all scream Floyd!

PinkFreud is right. Got the formula down. I can see why you liked the music, a real Tour de Pink. Well executed. Cheers.

Yeah...
not too much subtlety in the musical influence on this one, eh? :)

Always dug your vocals and lyrics on this one, Billy.

Mind falling thru clouds
Really nice guitar solo in middle. Understated, clean, simple, melodic.
So, how many hairs on your hand? I keep losing count...
