had to come
Don't know if you actually realize how much i like your tunes (and not just saying I do). Fine craftsmanship as expected. Bob and Bet are still my top favs, but this is a cool change-up.

Have you ever checked out Reggie_Pole here? I think you might dig 'im.

Garsh
Thank you so much. I'm still trying to find a voice that works with the equipment I have. I'd like to do more with Bobby and Betty, but I'm afraid I'll just steal the whole thing. Nobody seems to mind, however, so I may end up doing just that.

Progtastic Pole
I'm listening to Mr Pole right now. Impressive. I like the Fripp - like guitar. Other bits have more than a whiff of Zappa about them. All good stuff.

A Casserole of Nonsense
I like the jangly chords. Are you finger tapping that stuff? The section of pinched harmonics is also way cool. That throaty bass is locked in deep with those drums.

Tappata Tappata
Yes, there are a lot of tapped bits. I don't think Belew and Fripp did them that way, but I'm not that fast with traditional fingering. I like the last section best, with the slurred bass lines, so I'll probably do something with that in future.

Coolness
Ahhhh man, I was hoping to hear some vocals. I can only imagine what you'd sing about with a title like that. Very cool groove here, mixed sweetly too. Great stuff!

Stewie
The title is a quote from Family Guy, and is probably not fit for singing about! I'm open to someone with a decent voice adding to it, however. My own voice is too limited to do much so I concentrate on the instruments these days.

Vegetables
... and I'd probably sing about potatoes and cassava, as it's a casserole.

Arpeggio fun
Thanks, Vic. I've been learning about tapping over the last year or so and it's fantastic fun. Holding a guitar in the usual way seems a bit alien now.You can play "Comfortably Numb" on your own, and it sounds great. It's given me a new lease of life, I can tell you.

Frippbelew
I have tried dozens of times to capture that interplay, but always fail to come up with something good. You done good. I like your influences. I can imagine Belew adding a vocal track here. This seems to be set up for that ... well, not necessarily Belew (worth a shot, eh?) ... but someone. Enjoyed. I will check out some of your other work.

Frippin' heck
I'm holding out for Adrian! My older stuff doesn't sound like this, but I hope there's a progression. I really like your music, as recommended by sammydix. I'll be making a CD for the long trip to work on Monday.

Cool intro..
Hi Graham. Cool intro with some tasty bass. Nice mix with great balance. And whilst this is very enjoyable to listen to in its own right, some vocals would really round this out. Hope someone at MJ steps up to the plate. Regards, Peter.

Really like how the guitar lines twine. Bass line has an R&B flavor. Some vocs would be cool but I could hear as is as a film score.

Blatant Crim "tribute"
I'm getting better on the bass, and I like to mix 80's Crimson with jaunty bass lines for some reason. (Probably because I haven't a hope of approaching what Tony Levin does!) The guitar is the result of learning to play Andy McKee's "Drifting", and then applying the techniques to KC - like arpeggios.

Very nice piece of work....
Very stylish you called rock but it has a lot of funk in the groove, it
all feels real good to me....
Not everyone knows where the 1 is in a groove, you've hit this nail
on the head......

Well done....

Thanks
I never know what genre to put, as none of them seem right. After three years I'm getting to grips with my five string bass. I love the bottom note, which is why it crops up here so much. Other good - sounding bits are up at the top, where you can tap too. Also, I'm paying more attention to the drum, consciously locking the bass to it, and the results are satisfying.
