Down easy
There's a great jazzy feel here. The swing in the drum track and the phrasing in the melodic pieces scream "jazz" while the tones say "not so fast! This is so electronic." I love the overdriven organ sound. Nice mix of genres! What? No background info on how you did it? Software? Hardware?

Ok, beats programmed by me in Ultrabeat, bass by IL Morphine, most synths U-He Zebra. There's one ES2. Pad and south African voices are EXS24 factory samples.

Well p-p-p-pick up a ...
p-p-p-penguin ! Blimey I hope that this was not in your system for too long ....wow it could have damaged something....this does conjore up some rather amusing images ,spesh with the curious "cooing" chirp spooling all the way through...it has the audio equivelance of the idiosyncratic head jerk movement that penguins are blessed with.Making them look as though they are surprised by everything that the world throws at them ,but nevertheless they will take in their (rather limited) stride. All that inspired by the art....I am going for a lie down easy myself now....be good !

Nice one Vic! I like everything about this - reminds me a little (in feel) of Weather Report. A really good listen.

Love the SOUND
That rich bass is really cool, and the lead is filled with energy as a contrast to the sluggish background. That Leslie-speaker organ in the background (is that what it is?) twinkles with these bright little spikes that just make me smile. What a cool track. (Might a walrus be a better photo? just a thought.)

It all feels like....
Jazz..... Moves like jazz, looks like jazz in the chord patterns, I can even smell jazz on this..
It could be construed to be New Age Jazz, for me it's like calling Club House - Disco or R&B.....POP music.....It is what it is Good Music.....
Check out my latest song called Melded Universe....
