Mucho pleasant... nicely spaced out....no,no,no not in the hey man where you at type groove but in the gaps in the music .....I always tend to fill it all up and thats why my stuff is such pants ...but this is really a nice sounding song.... The more things change... Lovely guitar tones to introduce the song. Vocal is, IMO, your best yet -clear, distinct and full of emotion. The art work is exceptional - painted with this song in mind? I was sort of expecting something to come in at "Friends stay near" - some gentle harp, maybe? And do you think you might post the words at some stage? Chameleon Do you know something, this is probably your favourite of mine to date. It has a retro sound in the music but a definite contemporary vocal. The transitions are superb. Hey Stan... First off, I continue to be astounded by your art. Thoughtful depth. Now, the song... Very sweet, almost John Denver-esque sort of sensibility. As usual I like this Stan! I was waiting for some sort of hook. A chorus line? Or maybe I mean a rise? Some sort of build up? Great performance! The parts all seem to work well together.
