Description
This started with an acoustic riff I had and I had sent to James, he made a wonderful melody line to it. The acoustic version was a little sharp or flat I don't remember, so I made a new chord progression and putted James voice in it with Garageband. James still thinks it needs a "real" chorus, but I am not sure. And yes the bass is off here and there, I really suck at that..

After the solo there are a few measures with me singing, don't know about that :) and it probably doesn't fit the song, but you guys and girls let me know what you think about this little piece of hard work, haha...

I do miss James not being around on MJ, that;'s for sure!! He has the greatest voice..

So tell me what you think!!

Het is altijd
een plezier om naar uw werken te luisteren Egbert.

I love the guitar work on this, it's a very nice song and JD's work is fantastic too !

I think that the song structure sounds fine - to me at least. Whichever direction it goes, it'll be a cool song.

My favorite post of yours. The groove is super sexy. Great guitar playing. I like the song structure. James really brought his A game on this one. Nice mix as well!

This is a great song, and I miss James about the place his vocal is really good, you are musically brilliant as well which makes this a top notch collab well done

Nice simple authenticity
Really nice authentic feel on this track. Love JD's clear voice floating over the hip and fizzing guitar. Has a Van Morrison quality. That section where you sing does kind of sit by itself, like the band gets to approach the mic for a bit. There seemed to be a slightly different effects used, which would be my main note. Keep all the effects the same. And, perhaps, the track would be improved with dense and in-tune harmonies sung by JD instead. But I don't mind your vocals in relation to the authentic laid back guys laying down a simple track in a brief studio moment feel of the whole thing. Thanks for sharing this.

End of the line
Good groove, and a very comfortable sounding vocal performance from JD. He should come back! Cool guitar at 2:10. That thing is talking. The harmony vocals sound good but there should have been some more of that maybe. Good work.

I thought I have heard all of James' projects. I like the vibe of this a lot. Very soulful interplay between the vocal and the rhythm guitar. Excellent job!

Sweet
This is great. Love the smooth vocals and guitars. Dulcet tone with a finish quality. The bass is good too.

The End of the Line
Cool minor blues groove. I like those strat riffs. Nice melody line & vocals work against the backer. The "B" section feels more like a prechorus then a chorus to me, it doesn't feel "chorusy" until it gets to "the end of the line".
