Description
Here is the first song from the "Christmas Carols Old and New" book. This arrangement is actually an older one that was written for 'The Johanek Trio' to play. Our trio is me on the guitar, my son Steven on the clarinet, and my husband Bob on the bassoon. This is the electronic version of the piece taken from my Finale file and tweaked in GarageBand. I just thought I'd throw it in here since I'm now following a theme. Happy Holidays, everyone.

Carols
Fun for all the family! Nice clean recording with all the parts sounding quite separate, but playing beautifully together. I like the fact that the tune picks up pace (and the guitar is doing more) - the livelier part is happier, I think. Much enjoyed!

The family that plays together
has fun and music all year. We had family jam sessions at our house growing up, too. Nice arrangement and an interesting combo.

Sweet
This is a nice "uptempo" version of this favorite carol (along with In the Bleak Midwinter - do you have a version of that as well?). Thanks for sharing and happy holidays to you too.

Take care,
Henke
