Description
Two songs in two days, what's going on, sometimes they just pour out. This is bait of fun, trying to capture the frenzy of my youth I suppose. Please ignore the lyrics, I made them up on the fly and I hope they do not offend anyone, not my intention. I must write some more. I am still getting to grips with Logic Pro and need to learn how to tame my mixes on full on tracks like this. Any pointers will be gladly received.

OTT but fun
Back to my punk days!

Great music but vocals could come up (even if the lyrics are nonsense ;-) ).

Cheers

A well-captured moment
I dig your throw-your-head-back carefree vocal style on this. Full of fun. The track is almost over saturated, overly compressed, making hearing the separate instruments more difficult than it needs to be. However, it adds to the against-the-wall fun that pours out of the speakers. Thanks for sharing this.

For tips, I'd start by mixing at softer levels. Never approach peaking. Compress the track in the mastering process. Separate tracks specially (panning) and be careful reverb doesn't mush things together. If saturation is near, consider EQing out (or a little down) differing frequencies for each instrument (which ever maintains the integrity of the specific instrument/vocal track), so as to avoid saturation at specific frequencies. When using distortion, this is even more important. Hope this helps.

Thank you
And thanks for the comments. I need to master Logic yet. I think I tend to put too much processing on each track and rely on presets, rather than doing it the hard way. I will take on board your points and maybe do a remix.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Life is too short for regrets, just embrace the groove, embrace the life, go forth and create. Well that is my philosophy. If you listen, you will hear.... [see more]
