Sorry about the dreadful accents
but Dick Van Dyke started it with his appalling chimney sweep in "Mary Poppins." I have four more of these to do, and probably more after that. So the ordeal is far from over. Watch out for "Pistol - Packin' Cassowary", comin' to a ranch near you soon, varmint!

Well,spit it out....
Sorry, I'd comment further but I've got coffee with cream and sugar coming out of my nose from laughing so hard (not a very pretty picture!) This was great!

There's more
I'm afraid. Whenever I'm having a miserable time at school, I disappear into the fairytale world of The Cassowary and bang out another script. so, there are already six or seven of these things. I've "done" "Shane" (he doesn't make it), "Old Yeller" (it doesn't end well for anyone but Champeen) and a Valentine's Special (absolute bloodbath). Good, wholesome family fun.

Why does Paw
sound like Steve Martin as cowboy Dan !!....why oh why......spit it out *ting*...The Goons hijack Monty Python and bring it to the Clampett-Waltons ....superb.

Those cassowarys can be such vicious ba****ds.

Erm
They're all me, but I'm a big fan of Steve Martin. I fell in love with a cassowary at Dudley Zoo. It didn't go well. I hope that somehow, in some small way this helps promote the cause of the cassowary. Unbelievably, they're endangered, despite being the most dangerous beast this side of an enraged hippopotamus. Thanks for listening. More one the way. You have been warned.

More on the way? A frightening thought - and not just because of the dangers of the cassowary! Very funny, Graham. Nice guitar sounds for the song interlude!

A song, a smile, and a cassowary
I'm trying to include a song in each episode. I heard "Pistol - Packin' Mama" on Venerable Radio the other day and thought I might adapt it a little. (New tune, new lyrics, new ratite). Thanks for listening.
