Nice contrast
from the previous movement. There is a similarity, of course, among your various movements, but that provides a unifying element to your suite of pieces. You have an unusual and very personal concept of counterpoint, and it is refreshing to hear it. I wonder if you write any of these parts out or if you improvise them. Your ultimate key to achieve what you are thinking is probably to write as much of it down as you can. Then you will have many more options to consider. I enjoyed this melancholic movement very much.

Hi Paul
Thanks for your comment. Yes they are meant to be interrelated by mood and contrast, similar keys and harmonic centres. In this sort of work which is all done on cakewalk originally I write every note of the score- playing back, changing and so on till I'm happy with the result (or happy enough). Then I process it for tempo and tempo and volume changes etc. to give it more of a performance feel, then turn the result into a midi file which I play back with better sound fonts through synth font and record internally then edit the recording as an audio file.
Cheers
Mark
