Lyrics
In southern Arizona I'm sure to have fun
Headed to the desert with a shotgun
Puttin' holes in everything I see
Nothing here is tougher than me
Don't tell me to stop you silly sign.
I'll shoot you down if I deem you out of line.
Catching a little sun there lies a snake.
I'll make sure that he has time to bake.
Then I see a Saguaro standing tall.
And I'll be damned if I don't make it fall.
For its protected by the law of the land.
And I won't be controlled by chains of man.
So I walk up to the Saguaro with my gun.
I tell the endangered plant his days are done.
One blast and the cactus fell upon me.
Impaled am I, leaving only this story.
Yeah I saw a Saguaro standing tall.
And I was slain when I made it fall.
Heedless of the laws of the land,
You might laugh but I have died a man.
Headed to the desert with a shotgun
Puttin' holes in everything I see
Nothing here is tougher than me
Don't tell me to stop you silly sign.
I'll shoot you down if I deem you out of line.
Catching a little sun there lies a snake.
