Description
Simplified, tidied and I hope improved version of a song that lost its impetus while MJ was off the air.

Lyrics
Freedom calls you like your soul
Liberty your only goal
First, you must break the covenant, then you must smash the government
Then you must kill them all

People look for him to lead
To help them bite the hands that feed
Make the future, be the leader
Spartacus isn't your name

The price of freedom is death

Where will you go?
What will you do?

Gladiator Riot
I'd get locked up in Russia for singing this. Happy you enjoyed it Sam. A conversation between Batman and Alfred is next on my list of songs to finish. Now I'm off to hear your latest.

nice
harmonies. I like the guitar tone, and the interesting percussion choices. I wasn't a huge fan of the lyrics, and thought they were a tad heavy handed. I DO see what they're trying t do, though, so I appreciate that.

Varro
I thought the same thing re the lyrics, so I removed a few. I think an instrumental version might be an idea, except that it may end up sounding too much like a certain other popular theme tune. Anyway, what the heck, it was fun to record. Thank you for your comments.

Crassus
Mad? Eccentric? Sounds like it's from another universe? That's us - if you saw the Closing Ceremony, you know what I'm talking about. I appreciate the appreciation, KC.

Love the chordal and note choices that you've made here, makes for an interesting composition. Nice harms, beautiful tones abound.

Batiatis
It's just a bit melodramatic, though, isn't it? Not as nuts as Muse, but not my usual fare. I'm glad you liked it, Mr Rok.

Nice opening guitar work ... nice bass!! Vocals and harmonies really make this piece ... lovely playing and well produced. Your guitar harmonies are stunning especially through the "where will you go" part. Well done!
Cheers

The last bit is the reason why the tune exists, so I'm happy you enjoyed it. Of course, we know where the story is going, but on the bright side, Spartacus' body was never found, so the show may have a happy ending of sorts. Now, onto Bruce Wayne. Makes a change from moon in June.

And I'm knocked out that you're knocked out. I'm using the guts of this to do a different song, so watch this space.

I wanted to tidy up all the lyrics, ie remove them, but then I saw Muse at the Olympic and thought, 'If they can get away with that ..." I'm currently rewriting this as a folk song, possibly about ice cream. I always appreciate your remarks, Les. Why does "Bad Ass Puppies" not exist?

Puppies
An old RP tune. Did some tidying up on it. Posted it. Lost in a Woodstock wedge. Extracted it. Brooding.

Get Orff
I was trying for a "Carmina Burana" sound in the "Price of Freedom" bit, hence the harmonies. Thank you for listening.
