I fixed my infterface. And by "fixed" I mean, "turned a knob that went previously untouched and nothing was really wrong in the first place". But time is the biggest issue anyway. Got some midterms over this week so I jumped at the chance to record. Just wanted to make some noise.

I like the components in this. The guitars at the start are nice, and the vocal that comes in is very smooth. Gentle progression. Easy to listen to!

I like it!
Good sound you've got here, love the smooth vocals, good clear guitar. Definitely expand on this.

really like this. Obviously, you need to get some proper lyrics in there rather than the ah oh ahs, which sound too much like the end of the song. The spacey pad throughout is most excellent, but I'd bring it down a tad in the mix, maybe eq it so there are no clashes with anything else, I think. It's a brilliant soundbed and gives the whole track a distinct atmosphere. The tremoloed guitar on the right channel is just a wee bit too wavering imo. I think a cleaner lead sound would be better. The bass is excellent, as is the tone and volume on the vocal.

All my opinions of course and what do I know really. Like you, I just fiddle with the knobs and sliders! So please ignore me if you think I'm talking rubbish. As stated, I really do like this and think it could go somewhere else. Good stuff!

Very nice
Lennon714, this is a great start to a complete song. Hopefully, after you have taken care of the midterms, you can come back to it and work on it some more. I look forward to its development.

Beautiful sounded. I just want to snuggle up in it and forget I have to go to work tomorrow. The looping satellite noise is inspired. I happen to like the ooohs and aaahs as opposed to lyrics. Traditional lyrics are all just words anyway, right? Your oohs say way more in many ways. Good to see you posting.

A big hand
not only for "fixing" the problem but also for producing some fine noise. I am amazed when something like that happens to me. Good luck with the midterms; maybe then you can make some more noise. Cheers.

Inviting soundscape. Nice solid drum beat and the synths work well. The "ahhhs" are a good intro but some lyrics would round it out. Noise, no. Music, yes. Thanks, Peter.
