This mix was completed way back in November, but I couldn't make my mind up if I wanted to upload it or not. The treble bits are a little overwhelming, I think. What do you, the listener think? I'd love to know.

The title came from the idea that it would be best listend to and you would experience the soundscape better in the comfort of a good easy chair or armchair. Who knows really. Smoke 'em if you got 'em!!

I took your advice
and read the first 14 pages of a magazine while I listened. Very nice. I think I'll take a copy so I can read the rest ;-)

Hi Richard.....
I'm glad you could concentrate on the reading whilst listening to the mix. I find sometimes that time flies and I've read a chapter or more of my book and not realised the time that has flown by. I can't do this with some of my mixes as I want to change things, even on some of the final mixes, as I listen with whatever mood I'm in at the time, and sometimes I miss things that I should have caught earlier in the mixing process.

Take care.

Nothing amiss
I'm not picking up on anything "a little overwhelming" at any spot in this track, Paul. It is just very peaceful ringing, shimmering bells and gentle harmony, perfect seance music, or just a track to let one's mind go and become peaceful. I could not read a book to this, however. It requires undivided presence. Nice.

Hi Paul.....
I do know what you mean. With some of my pieces I have to 'travel' or close my thinking process right down so that I can become one with the music. Lately more and more of my mixes (not all uploaded) affect me this, or similar ways. It helps that I have practised various forms of meditation for years, and so can 'stop the world' from time to time.

Take care.

Stunningly Good
What a wonderful piece. Mystical and magical. Able to suspend worries of the day to escape to some other less stressful place -- thank you for that.

Hi Mike.....
It's my pleasure to allow the listener the time and space to wind down, or remove themself from a situation for a short while. I strive for this sort of effect. I don't always hear it myself, or write for one experience and have feedback that indicates differing experiences with the same soundscape. That's OK. If the experience is never the seem with any repeat listening, that is good too.

I'm looking forward to hearing more of your own creations now, I hope, you have more time to create.

Take care.

The Armchair
Nice track! That one-pitched sound (treble bits?) gets a wee bit distracting from the good stuff in the lower registers after a while in my opinion. I would have made it "come and go", but that's me :) I still like it though! Dreamy goodness.
