Description
A little diddy... couldnt get Reason to bounce the synths. Also no vocals recorded yet so I suppose saying it's "mastered" is a little loose.

Very cool...
I listened to this one and Beagles. I like them both, but I really like this one. I can't wait to see where you guys take this. Great work.

I dig this. Could hear vocals but it works this way, too. Love the bass in the quiet section.

The vocals
sound nice on it as well. We didnt put them on quite yet because we just don't have a singer that fits. Thanks for the kudos on my bass line!

Good track.
Really like the drums. Are they live/ human?
Good guitar texture and like the way it changes mood chorus to verse.
Not sure it needs the synths that are missing unless they're just minimal ones.
Be good to her some vox on it too
cheers

Yes
the drums are indeed live (took several takes) I really like the guitar texture and we actually recorded the guitar 4 times on 4 tracks. Really makes for a full sound. The synths are pretty basic are only during the end in the "turn around" or outro section. If you ever are able to hear in the future, you will understand the awesomeness! Thanks!

drums
I was trying to work out if the were loops ( some of those ezdrummer loops are getting good but the fills and general feel of it were just too good to be loops.
4 tracking guitars is a great idea. I was watching a vid on doing that for strummed acoustic guitar but having got round to trying it out yet. Sounds good. I'll let you off with the synths then if they're not too intrusive :-)
cheers

4 track
I recommend at least doing two tracks, at least for what i think sounds full. I like to adjust the EQ on the tracks slightly differently, and pan them a good amount to opposite sides. It really works out great, but you have to do fresh recordings for each track! Thats what sounds the best. Definitely worth a shot.

thankyou
for the compliment. The guitar player really had his stuff dialed in. Now he's trying to find the right sound with his new 1960's fender twin reverb! I think that amp will sound really cool recorded.

I really like this ... you have some original ideas ... the 4 tracks for guitar works well ... very dreamy, ethereal sound ... man you need to get some vocals on this. Wouldn't mind hearing the bass up a bit....

thank you
for the comment. The vocals sound really nice, but we just havent gotten around to it. I don't really play with the singer much anymore so this might be the end of it unfortunately...

Hey everyone! I love throwing up some ideas on here and seeing what you all think of them. I recently got Pro Tools 10, (very hard to figure it out on your own), and so far it sounds pretty good. All drum recordings are done in about a 10' x 10' carp... [see more]
