Description
This is an instrumental with piano and acoustic guitar. It is a collaboration with Daphne who I think is a brilliant pianist. I love her music and thank her so much for helping me out on this one. It has the feeling of floating, at least I feel it does. Use your imagination on this one, you might come up with something different than what I think.

Thanks so much Daphna !

nice collab
You guys sounds good together. The piano and guitar
parts really play nicely off of each other. There's too
much chorus effect on the guitar for my taste. You two
sound almost like you were playing live together, the
interaction is so good.

This really caught my attention
toward the end, when things started getting a bit more
dissonant. Excellent fingers, both of you. I don't think it
would be a stretch to put this under Jazz instead of New
Age. Works either way.

I would like ton know more about how you collaborated
on this? Did Tiler lay a track and send it to daphne? Which
came first? You two were definitely in sync.

This really caught my attention
Actually Tom I sent it over to Daphna and she did her thing.
She sent back an mp3 and .band file. The .band file is the GB file.
It is very heavy in file size. So she had to sent it through a special
web service,

When I got it back, I put the .band file in GB2 and did a bunch of
stuff on it. I actually had a lead worked out on it and was ready to
upload it with a slide but it just didn't do justice to her incredible
piano playiing. So I took it out. I did have to tighten my original
playing in two places. So I had to use the recycle yellow band and add another
track and do some splicing.

Thanks for stopping by

Yes, ethereal
Or at least I think that's the word if I spelled it right. Very
light and airy. Beautiful playing. Love the change to the
dissonance at the end. I like the fact that you put some
effects on your guitar to get a different sound. I would
maybe turn the intensity down just a smidgen (a what?).
The interplay between the guitar and Daphna's piano is
just right. Each one getting a chance to shine without
either one dominating. This will make great dinner music
and I will play it the next time I have friends over.

Yes, ethereal
To: Bronco

I was influenced by an earlier piece that I did. And an internet food company
wanted to use that earlier piece. So it is interesting that you mentioned about
"dinner".

Thanks much!

are the two of you on this great instrumental. I love
this type of music. A very enjoyable listen!

Bill, you are showing up everywhere! This option of

Thanks for stopping by. It is fun to collaborate on different types of stuff.

I was really blown away how fluid Daphna is on piano.

I was really into putting a nice slide guitar lead on there. I just couldn't do it.
Her piano work was just to sacred to me to want to take any chance to
conflict with her precious playing in any way.

... really nice shapes tumbling over each other in here.
Great collaboration, the way you ease in and out of each
other's way. The ending is really clever too.

Mr. T,

this is an awesome piece, love how the guitar and piano
interact. Great job from both of you.
Very soothing and calm.
May I download?

Cheers

how can you not be a fan of this song?
you're absolutely right katchoolik! For some reason, the piece has very few
fans and a much lower rating than I think it deserves, considering thetiler's
expertise on the guitar, my expertise on the piano, and overall, how well it
blends together. Glad you stopped by to comment and THANKS. About time
somebody noticed...

It isn't too hard to play when you have one of the most talented people I have
ever heard in music playing with ya in Daphna.
