Lyrics
I wish I'd never...
Had that taste....
I can't get you...
From my mind...
I'm walking a dark path...
I can't make it back...
Looks like I'm never going home...

Memories of a time...
When you weren't...
On my mind...
And now,
I'll never make it home....

(Bass Solo)

I look in the mirror...
I can't understand...
How I became....
This man...

Now I'm all alone...
Out here, on my own...
I can't make it....
Back home....

I'm sorry....

(Sax Solo)

My confession
The swirling opening sets up the song. The distant, painful vocal expresses the lyrics well. The bass sits beautifully. Cool sax solo. Powerful work.
