What I never understand
Is why people are hurting so much
When things are getting out of hand
People are losing their touch

Brother against brother
They blow themselves to hell
One against the other
A story so hard to tell

In a world of constant change
It's so easy to lose your way
Time to move, time to rearrange
And say what you gotta say

Brother against brother......

the inter-play between the guitar tone/chords and the vocal melody. Solid song KC. Sad, in a sense, as this is an all too common and familiar feeling and message. Nicely done.

Hard To Tell
I always love the guitar tones you get, and this is no exception. Thoughtful lyrics and expressive vocal. Good harmonies. Your work always impresses, KC!

Worthy topic, Cees. It seems to me that religion, which is just a smokescreen for power and money, is the catalyst/excuse for many of the conflicts seen around the globe at the moment. A quality "essay" in song. Well done. Regards, Peter.

Great tone
Loved the guitar tone, and the groove. Great vocal doubling and harmony mixing. Guitars sit great in the range as well, right where they need to be.

Nice track!

"And say what you gotta say"
This is a timely and very appropriate poem Groove. As only you do my man. Slick and thoughtful in its composition. Grooved in your performance. Musical to the nines...

An epic feel
to the music and a message that simply should be heard by all. Unfortunately the crazies of the world could listen to this all day long and still just not get it.

I agree with all the comments above. Creative, emotive, great guitar work, vocals spot on. Really a very cool work. Very nicely done.

I think sometimes...
it's because we ARE brothers that we can't seem to get along with each other; I'll never know. Some of your best lyrics ever, the melody line is memorable and of course, your musicianship and vocal abilities really sent this across strongly Cees. Loved the bass line on this too! I wish I could do great things like this, it's just amazing how you do it! Also, your mix here, PERFECT!! Thanks again for the outstanding work! Michael

A song for many times...
We still haven't learned form the Civil War, have we. Nice catchy tune... For my ears, the hi-hats are a bit big in the mix, they are a little bit distracting, but that is the only thing to mar what is a really cool piece. I love the instrumental break between verses, and the clean, compressed tone you get from your guitars... Nice work!

Hard to tell
I really like the arrangement here. I do have to agree about the hi-hats. The ride you bring in at about 0:40 sounds more like what the tune needs. Very nice bass meandering. Reminds me of Squire a bit in terms of note selection. Guitar sounds nice and bright. Big sounds here and there. I like it. As for the subject: that discussion could go on forever. It's a question worth thinking about.
