And then suddenly...
...there was THIS little gem of a trio. It is so full of life and such a happy, bouncy feeling. The bassoon/flute duo is particularly pleasing, David. I think this is a very nicely laid out number that fairly flies by with a twinkle and a lighthearted nod to the simplicity of nature unencumbered by particular rules or even consequences. My only nit is that it is over almost before it begins. I can easily hear a "B" section even with the same exuberance that explores the motifs in Bm before a recapitulation to the first part. It is such a glorious little piece that would be even more satisfying were it just 30 or 40 seconds longer.

Thanks Paul. Love your description! This piece just appeared in the middle of another piece I've been working on, so I captured it as its own. Your idea of an extension seems like the way to go.

Fresh Mint
Lives up to its name, David. Energetic and invigorating. The interplay between the three instruments is wonderfully realised. A great wake up call over here in Aus. Thanks. Regards, Peter.

Delightful. Full of freshness and sprightliness. Beautifully played. I love the way the instruments weave in and out of each other. A gem!
