Description
Well, I’m not, and will never be a guitarist, but this is a riff that’s been bouncing around in my head for some time, so a borrowed a Fender Stratocaster and did my best. I know i need to polish the chorus but i’d really love some feedback towards the final mix. It basically is a guitar song, so it should have a solo, but i’m not the man to do it, sorry :-)

Lyrics
’TILL I BLEED

I’m not satisfied with you sitting in my car
Eatin’ pickled pickles from an old fruit jar
It’s not enough, no life for a man
Just listening to music, just holding your hand

Gimme your mouth
Kiss me ’till i bleed

I want more, more than your hugs
You don’t need to love me, but we’re a perfect match
I need you tonight, so take my hand
And let me lead you,, to a promised land

Not bad...
Very cool classic rock riff. I like how you use your full
vocal range on this although you seemed to struggle with
the higher notes. Make sure you draw in plenty of air and
work on controlling your breath and you'll hit them with
ease.

This is a really good start and I'll be interested to hear
where you take it from here. Rock on!

Thanks,
well You're right. I don't know about hitting them with ease ;-) but this is the first take and i'm really off sometimes. I usually make the songs at night, which works fine, but not with the vocals. My wife isn't very fond of heartbreaking screams at 3 am.
I'll do better next time.
Thanks again for the input!

I know what you mean... my wife also discourages that type of behavior at 3am!

One should think that wifes would have more of an understanding of the
boost the artistery gets from being allowed the freedom of the night. (A nice
Lagavuling isn't all wrong either, boosting the artistery. At least that's a tad
more silent...) I'm currently negociating throwing her books out and turning
her library into a soundproof artistery boosting music room. So far she's said
nothing, just glared at me. Can't imagine why. I also have my eye on an
especially large closet on the second floor. Unfortunately that's where she
keeps all her clothes, but i'm going to suggest that she could stuff that into
the library... Then she could read her books during her daily 30
minutes tryouts.

I Agree with Adam Clarke
Cool Riff, vocals strain a bit (bravo for effort though - I
usually don't even try). Good production overall, but I felt
like the drums could have really kicked up a little in
volume by the end of the song.

Yeah, the vocals will need to be redone. I also would like the chorus to have
more chutzpah. I'll have a look at the drums too... maybe the guitars doesn't
have to be so dominant?
Thanks for your input, very much appreciated.

Pickled Pickes, and Bleeding mouth.
That has to be painful. Eating pickles with an open sore in
the mouth. Gruesome. Very nice use of imagery and
words and stuff like that. Really paints the picture here.
Nice Work.

Lol! Now who's painting a picture here? I didn't really have that image in
mind, but of course, as with all really great art, the beauty is in the eye of the
beholder and different viewers see different things ;-)
Like your music, your comments have a way of forcing me to think in
directions other than anticipated, which of course is very nutricious for an old
fart like myself with a soul like a stagnant tide (yes dear literate reader, you're
quite right, that's almost Poe).
As usual your input is very much appreciated.
