I woke up early one morning
Could not find no sleep no more
Cause I was worried about the Troubles
The Troubles knocking down at my door

The union has been on strike last Friday
Since Monday I ain´t working for the Boss no more
I got some hungry mouth to feed
Can´t you understand that I am a little concerned
About the Troubles knocking down at my door

I woke up early this morning
And I walked out straight trough my front door
I bought myself a shotgun and I will tell the Boss
That I don´t take it anymore

Nice clean guitar tone ... played with lots of feel. The only thing I would suggest is a little more variety with the drums ... maybe a few cymbal crashes and bring the volume of the ride cymbal up a bit. Sweet blues .... enjoyed.

Thx for the comments - you are right with the drums – I should dig into it and get them more sophisticated. It was the first time I used the Beta Monkey loops and I like them a lot better than GB loops.

I thought
the drums sounded fine, but what do I know. Stan (Hounds) has much more experience with this sort of thing than I do. Both you and your guitar sound pretty bluesy and I can identify with your lyrics ;-)

Good song..
Needs a little tighter mix, and drop off on the reverb
Vocally but the groove is locked no question..

Some work would make this Magic, :-)

Thank you all for the comments. It means a lot to me that you like the feel , groove and lyrics of the song. I will try to get a better mix together and rework the drums and then upload it again, if this is possible.

Great slow blues groove, as others have mentioned, and the guitar tones are real nice. Your vocals work well this this style of music and a little tweaking of the room acoustics will meld them into the mix a bit better. Tasty, laid back solo. Good one. Thanks, Peter.

Thanks Peter. I overworked the mix as far as possible. But it seems that there is no option within the MJ software to delete the current version and replace it by another without deleting the complete song profile. So next time I will take care of the mix properly before the upload. Sorry☺
