Description
This is a segue between a set of songs I'm compiling. I had a bit more time to play with Logic X and experiment with sounds. I appreciate any suggestions on improving what I've got, and especially hearing others' musical input.

Love the Rhodes. It is one of my favorite instruments. Such warmth. Kind of teasing in all it's starts and stops. I'd be interested to hear how if fits into the larger piece and the segue it is posted to be. Thanks for the post. I'm staying tuned.

Thanks..
for the listen and comments. I'm experimenting with different placements of this little piece. My music is usually the manifestation of feelings I can't verbalize or make much sense of. I just keep playing with what comes up and trying to improve/define it better over time.

I think what strikes me is that I would tend to use a more open bass sound. The bass is so muted that it competes rather than compliments the keys. Again this is my taste, but that was what first struck me when listening. Also, when you say segue, do you mean to say that this will be playing over two pieces and you fade from one to the other? As Skunk 1 said, I would be interested in hearing that. I hope that helps.

Your Take Much Appreciated
My use of the word "segue' was inaccurate, sshedra - as there is meant to be a brief pause between this and surrounding pieces. I have this compilation of songs on soundcloud, where I can hear songs continuously and play with their sequence. Long, long ways to go before it sounds great, but the process is fun!

at the very beginning, i was thinking a keyboard version of Fripp solo. you know, where he plays a part, then while that one still goes, a new part begins, and so on. i was really hoping for that--peronally--but the sudden stops disrupted the flow, i feel. i think this is worthy for more additions/extensions.

Good Advice
O.k., so you know where I'm coming from, I had to google "Fripp," but at least once done I was able to fondly place and recall "Court of The Crimson King."
I have heard "stops and starts" a couple of times, now - and will give it a listen with new ears, thanks to you're input!

Interesting ditty. Like the intro of a very long psychedelic jam....
