Description
Hey MJ'ers. It's been a while. Life gets in the way sometimes. New cities, new jobs, changes and rearrangements. This song has been in the works for a while, but just came together after I've had some real time to spend in the studio. Taking time off. Thinking about what I want to be doing in the future. I think the pensive, contemplative stage I find myself in is coming through in this. I sang and played everything, except the drums which are loops - although altered ones. Hope you enjoy it. I welcome constructive criticism - as well as sunshine.

Lyrics
Prussian Blue

Eyes, eyes that pierce the dark
Arrows miss their mark
Blood trails in the snow
Footprints come and go
Inside prussian blue
Light illuminates the pool
Deeper in the dark
Where our words are torn apart
Down, down inside a voice
Searching for a choice
Curse the words I said
Questions getting stronger
Outside, Outside footsteps fade
Inside I just pace
Curse the words I’ve said
Thoughts I can’t erase
Inside prussian blue
Light illuminates the pool
Deeper in the dark
Where our words are torn apart
Warm, warm inside the room
Sealed up like a tomb
Silence is a drowning vision
That’s surrounding me

I haven't been here much either in some time (for the same reasons), so I don't know what else I may or may not have missed for you, but this is a really great song! Great performance and arrangements - 80's pop ala Echo and the Bunnymen - some great guitars and vocals - need to listen to it more before giving more comments - these words are after two listenings... If I like a song after the first listening, like with this one, it is good in my ears... Great to hear from you again! /Mikki
