Intro and One Minor Thing

Part of a "Long psychedelic jam..." is how someone described my last submission and that describes the nature of what I'm looking for.. about 30 minutes in all. This intro and tune would be part of that jam.
Lifetime buddy A-man sent me the guitars beginning 0:54 and going into a lead at 2:13, and this post is a beginning of my trying to do it justice. It's a sketch, and hopefully my production skills will improve over time (at least it's fun trying!) If you have a bit of musical color to throw in, or a take on this, please send it my way - I'm stymied.

I like where this is going. It starts to develop a vibe that almost reminds me of something from Mike Oldfield way back. When the guitar comes in at :54 it is like a new song. I wonder about two things - if you want to keep the lead in is there a way to use some part of it either over or under the rest of the song - or parts of it anyway - so it doesn't get orphaned only to the beginning. The second thing is that the guitar section feels like it could use some low sounds to fill in the space a bit. Could be a synth or bass for example. That might also be a way to tie your sections together more.

Some cool material here you are developing.

Intro and one minor thing
Lots going on here although I think the different elements are at times competing with each other. (e.g. the guitars at 2:54) so for mine the next step is deciding what sort of mood you want to create and aligning that with the various sounds you are using. Fascinating production.

Not sure where this is going since it is comprised of many quite different sections. I guess I am looking for a more-ordered form and a more specific direction. Nevertheless, this does pique my interest on many levels and I enjoyed this experience of hearing your imagination at work. The prime instrument struck me as sounding like a sitar, so I was waiting for something a little more Eastern. Maybe it is just me, or were you trying for that instrumental effect?
