Nice composition.
What is that a the beginning for the back notes?
It sounds like a sort of 12 string guitar preset on a synth.
It's unusual but works really well.
The rhythm or undulating synth that comes in at 33secs conflicts a little bit with the general feel and melody.
Apart from that I like the chord changes and layout.
Who's the paining by?
I like that too

Just an image I found online. By Henry Asencio.

I know what you mean about the synth at 0:33. I may replace it.

The synthesized melody that starts in the beginning is a guitar emulator, somewhat processed; all other synths are u-he Zebra, mostly a preset pack that I wanted to explore.

The flute is of course real: a Butch Hall F# in Padouk wood.

Like the flute as always. The deeply buried pad-like drum kick is very cool and subtle- dig it. For some reason I get a Blade Runner soundtrack vibe to the synth pads. the u-he Zebra is a great synth. Cool post.

Gentle and reflective...
I like the time you take in setting this at the beginning for the entry of that wonderfully-rich flute. (Nice to know that it is acoustic, too.) Another thing that I like about this is the richness of whatever you've used for the bass counterpoint. It seems to just round everything out in such a gentle and satisfying way. THIS flute is in tune! and you play it beautifully. A very peaceful listen. The fade is so effective, too.

Peaceful, reflective and satisfying. You put together a nice palette of sounds, Vic. The flute sounds great. Nice artwork, too. Glad I stopped by. Thanks, Peter.

This is really nice. I'm getting a Moving Hearts/Davy Spillane vibe here, keep expecting some drums to kick in! The synth-work is excellent and complements you flute melody perfectly. I'd have like a bit more low end myself, but that's a minor thing.

Very good composition.

THat flute is so warm against the plucking chords, Like when the high pitched synth comes in over the rest just 2 notes but it completes teh progression Thanks for that !
