Funk for All Seasons pt.1

Get Flash to see this player.

This track was made from various breaks taken from a live recording by Rahsaan Roland Kirk called "Seasons". These breaks were extended warped and harmonized in different ways. Combined with these breaks are original guitar parts, bass parts and drum programming. This is part one of a two part track,it was too long upload in its entirety.

Rahsaan Roland Kirk (August 7, 1935 – December 5, 1977) was an American jazz multi-instrumentalist who played tenor saxophone, flute and many other instruments. He was renowned for his onstage vitality, during which virtuoso improvisation was accompanied by comic banter, political ranting, and the ability to play several instruments simultaneously.

nice ride
on the whole, but i really like how it changed up near the end when the 7th's came in. would like to have heard just a touch more bass (to the whole sound, not the instrument itself).
