Dainty huh?
People keep expecting things that just don't happen. This is the music for those expectations. The flap like verb on the percussion is interesting.

Interesting and contemplative. There is also a cinematic appeal to this, and could elicit a number of emotions, depending on what was happening on the screen. It made me feel calm and serine, but could also be romantic, or melancholy. Nice work - enjoyed!

this was almost 'delicate' with nice warm strings. have to agree with the emotional aspect...and the unexpected. relaxing surprise.

Something slightly different. Yes, indeed. This seems to straddle the line between melancholia and contentment, just like real life. In that regard, maybe shoegazer is just the thing. The composition and arrangement are beautiful, and the synths are wonderful. I think this could be called wistful. But threaded with optimism. And wot, no bass? S'alright.

optimism
yes, you've got it. i've slowly configured my antennae to pick up a fuller spectrum of emotion. that familiar hint of melencholia is present but here also are the fledgling senses of joy and hope... just like real life, as you say. at any rate, thanks for your kind words Les, i am happy you liked this.

Meditative beginning but with a hint of expectation of what is to come. And the swelling strings and delicate guitar work don't disappoint. Creative and wonderfully realised. Enjoyed the ride a lot. Thanks, Peter.

Very thoughtful piece, allows the mind to disengage and just experience. Definitely widescreen for the cinema in the back of your head I think.

yo
you limelight-less bloke, yes, i think i know where you are coming from. Guitars? you? Really love that section around the 1.30 mark. I feel as if you might have really been discovering about the individual sounds and how they fit into this sphere. Difficult to convey in words too, what this does to me. Happy face! can i get away with that here? Suffice to say haha! Its beautiful, and i might know the roots!!!!! hahahaha yes, sorry bro! Encore? Well,i just hope you wont keep the next quite such a secret.

One more thing mate, its inspiring right now to be listening to this, thanks.

The Journey
Like how you seem to let the music go where it wants to go. That makes for an unexpected .. and therefore pleasing .. journey.

building on a progression
It comes in full around the middle with the string like the beginning of the song was a prep was what comes next then to slowley fade back to the roots of the song but in a full more rounded way tops I love this kind of song writing!

To a peaceful place...
...That's where this gentle track takes me. Music that is this transparent runs the risk of showing inner flaws, but absolutely nothing here suggests anything but care and precision in the creation, the performance, and the mix. Such a peaceful little journey you have imagined and realized with such care. So much enjoyed.

I like it
Quite a bit, but drums are key and I feel like maybe they could hit a bit harder though this is a laid back track. Otherwise a very fine piece that really grows on the listener.
