I close my eyes and fly above the clouds.

Improvised this a few months ago on my piano/guitar and just added some vocals to it. Enjoy :)

Recorded this after my uncle died of lung cancer so suppose I was thinking of "above" type things.

cool build up
Some awesome energy in this, like the way you mixed the guitar and vocals sort of like the art you posted. Excellent song!

This seems to be a good song but it's produced and mixed down way too loud. You need to look at your levels on each individual track as well as your master and make sure you aren't red-lining (exceeding 0 dB). Then you should look at any settings there may be on the mix down at export to make sure there isn't something compressing it.

I'm not an expert at this mixing thing by any means and I'm not familiar Ableton Live, so please don't take offense to what I say.

pretty cool actually
starts off with a Philip Glass type feel. Pretty arty and psuedo-classical. . The minimal guitar is very atmospheric and effective. you try different things here than what a lot of people are doing and try some things with your mixing that is a bit risky, but I think that is what a place like this should be a about. my wife just said "it is beautiful...I like it".

Thanks glad she likes it!
Yes I did all of the overmodulation and clipping on purpose with my feedback ronin vst because I think just plain piano and guitar is boring to me :) Thanks my friend.

I like you took a different approach to the mixing with feedback and vocal recording. Certainly give a more edgy and fresh feel to the otherwise smooth composition. Keep that creativity flying. Cheers.
