Soaring, majestic instrumental, Dan. Lovely guitar tone and some high quality playing. The big drums add to the sense of grandeur. Impressive. Thanks for the post. Regards, Peter.

In medias res...
I feel like I've come in in the middle of a performance, there being no lead-in or intro to set the stage. ... Some stellar playing here from all involved. Not sure I'd describe it as "beautiful instrumental", but certainly one that made me sit up and listen with admiration for your skill and for the expanse of the music itself. (The highest notes of whatever it is that produces them are pretty unnatural-sounding, and a little hard on the ears.)

Incredible skill on display here.
With many instruments in the world the very highest notes are the ones that require the most skill to play, and the electric guitar is one of those. You have used some of those top notes and made them pure and clear, with real expression. It's tough to do that at all, but to do it as well as you have is extremely unusual. Some of this reminds me of the best of Satriani's playing, especially the purity of some of it and the incredibly precise string bends. Amazing playing.

On the tune, I'm with Paul in that I think this would work better with a more gradual build-up. Not sure why, it just seemed that way by the end. Where I'm not with Paul is that I love those high notes, I guess in part because I know just how rare it is to find a guitar player who can make them sound like that. If you did those in every tune then a gig would be tiring to listen to, but in one or two tracks they are a bit of a shocker that will make people sit up and take notice - in a good way.

Still, even as it is this is an attention grabber. Please keep making and posting music!
