Fareeda – I really need ya
And I wanted you to know
Fareeda - didn’t wanna leave ya
Real shame I had to go
You’re on my mind - from dawn ‘til dusk - then through the night
Oh Fareeda – without you – nothing’s right

Fareeda – sure I believed ya
When you whispered in my ear
Just felt so right – as I held you tight
And then you sighed …. ‘oh Dear’
You were next to me - from dawn ‘til dusk - then through the night
Oh Fareeda – without you – nothing’s right

Now I look around - soon as I awake
But you’re not there - for heaven’s sake
So, what am I supposed to do

Instrumental verse

Fareeda – I sure need ya
More than you’ll ever know
If I pack my sack and come on back
D’you think our love might grow
Believe me when I say – when I return - this time I’ll stay
Oh Fareeda – without you – nothing’s right

Up beat
nice guitars and I'm digging the vocal accompaniment. Happy go luck melody, some well thought out lyrics and a cool play on words.

I like the ways this flows. The little touches of brass in the arrangement work well. Nice choppy guitar chords and good bouncy lead break in the middle. Warm vocal with sweet harmonies. Good one!

Oh, this is just such a happy toe-tapper ...
It’s fun.   Bouncy and friendly and nicely done.

Sweet sadness
Such a happy-sounding song for some poor fellow whose heart is breaking : )

But, hey, love conquers all!

Love the mix of boppy guitar picking and the horns.

Born and bred in Liverpool and like most kids from that place got my first guitar as a young teenager (in the late 60s). I've been dabbling with a guitar or two ever since and couldn't imagine life without one. I've never had any musical training (pr... [see more]
