This is one we just finished ... live Groovehounds with some keys and harp added.
It started with the opening riff as a jam and fell into this groove. I play my 63 fender jazz master clean through a fender hotrod with the amp reverb miked with a sure 57. Bass amp miked with a 57 and drums miked with 2 overhead condensers
57 on the snare and bass drum. Keys are kontakt vintage keys.

Stan Gadziola (Gadzooks) vocals, guitar, harp, keys handclaps and mix
Donnie MacNeil drums, vocals, handclaps, beer
Rob George bass, handclaps, bg vocals

Do Your Thang
Bad ass! Shades of Delbert McClinton - a horn arrangement would kill on this. Guitar tone is sick, love the purity. Bass and drums are meaty and in the pocket. Dig!

As always...
...a great big delight! One of these days, you guys need to leave off something so I can be a critic 'n' stuff, but man, all the music you guys do, like this--loved it through and through. Stan, your vocal reminded me of Prince a little now and then. THANKS! Michael

I'll be just fine
Good fun. Tight as all hell, but sloppy around the edges, just the way it oughta be. Nasty harp, and those handclaps … well, hahaha … nice. Fresh air. Do some more.

You Do Your Thang
Bit late, Stan. Sorry. Lovely, clean funk riffing to kick things off. The hand-claps really give the song a nice, tight/loose feel. Rob drives things along and Donnie is cooking'. I'm happy to go your way. Thanks, Peter.
