I don't much care about your political views, although I will admit I'm a little sick of the political correctness movement in this country. I DO, however, think this is a cool jam - I think you're having fun with us - carry on! Enjoyed!

Hello Sigmund
I don't care for political views either. What makes you think I have a political view? Glad you enjoyed the piece though. Throw down on it Sir, I would love to hear your take. Yer not the subject of this challenge Sigmund, but I am certain you know that.

there's always a steward, right? without it there's anarchy. judging by your guitar playing on this one, perhaps anarchy is your preference.

i read the manufactured dust-up in Les Kloo's clearly subversive "Joni" post. have you not yet grown bored with toying with our emotions?

A steward Sir. A guardian and protector... Anarchy Sir? Say it is not so. I can produce that experience... but based on my experiences with posting atonal music at MJ, I would not be respected.
Funny you would suggest this is Anarchy. Isn't this carefully tonic? And the rhythm... almost a bunny hop. You have missed the boat on this one Sir.
As far as toying with your emotions, Sir, those belong to you, you alone are responsible for how you feel and what your emotions mean. What are emotions Sir? Might I suggest Robert Solomon's book on the subject? A UT professor and fine trumpet player btw, he died not too long ago. His views on Nietzsche are interesting, his books are probably available at a discount. Check him out on Youtube, he was an able lecturer.

The woofer's busy with the bass line, the tweeter is screaming the guitars, but there's nothing in the middle. Just like politics these days. Just sayin'...

Thanks for stopping. Allow me to suggest what is actually happening in this tune is the two guitar lines are left and right and screaming, the bass is hopping, and the middle is overwhelmed by the extremes, like the current political reality. Listen again with headphones... I designed it just that way.

Been here since the place opened. I hope you enjoy yourself here at MJ. In fall 2009, I erased the 60+ tunes I had posted since day one. MJ had changed, becoming hateful and repressive, and I needed to respond appropriately. What happe... [see more]
