Description
I wrote this song, a lullaby, for my first grandchild when she was born in 2003. I'm posting the song to celebrate her 13th birthday. The song art is when I first sang it to her, my sweet Julia Grace. Happy birthday, Julia!

Lyrics
Calm yourself and go to sleep
Everything's okay.
I am here right by your side
There's nothng now to fear.
And though you don't understand
These words that you now hear
Lullaby you now to sleep
I am very near...

Sweet Julia Grace
God shed His grace on you.

Little children of the Lord
Always His to keep.
Angels watching you tonight
Chase away your fears.
And though you don't understand
These words that you now hear.
Lullaby you now to sleep
I am very near...

Sweet Julia Grace
God shed His grace on you.

2003 Jack Miller

beautiful in concept and execution!
the delivery and the production, the simplicity, the strings coming in, it is all just very much right on the money.

It has held up well
I remember this from 13 (yes 13!) years ago. It still sounds sweet .. touching .. loving. Everybody should be so lucky to have such a song written about them.
