They Went Underground

Intro solo

There sculptured stories everywhere
That make reason stare
That jump up and say
They went underground

You may scoff at what I sing
But truth is what is king
The sculpture they don’t lie
They went underground (2)

The truth is leaking out at last
Nasa’s showing sculptures with out a vocal word
Let that little birdie on your shoulder be heard
When you see sculptures, portrayed as falling from the sky ! (2)

Sculptured stories everywhere
Lets to Nasa be fair
Revealing mighty things
They went underground (2)

They went underground to avoid the cataclysm
That destroyed their planet in extreme ancient times
Photos of sculptures that tell of this very fact (2)

Gold rush
The Tiler goes electric! What a pleasant surprise.

Actually, I think you have sweetly integrated electric touches to your customary fingerstyle acoustic play. Nice work.

And .. obviously you have found your sweet spot for composition. This is a fabulous song (building off of your previous post) .. tapping into your fervor for Martian civilization. My suggestion is you keep mining this Martian gold - as it is producing some pay dirt!

Thanks Warren
I really do appreciate that comment! I understand an existing civilization living underground and could be thousands of years ahead of our own could be pretty scary. And that is exactly why I think Nasa is leaking out amazing examples of incredible sculptures in drips and drabs.

Here is a link to a sculpture that has reflections of almost a "gold" look:

It is the first image on top of the page:

Again, thank you so much for that wonderful comment Warren

Gorgeous guitars...
love the effects, your passionate vocal, and the backup "ahhs." But, as most often the case, your guitar playing is the star. Kudos, Bill!

The Master
Bill, you are not only the master of playing the acoustic guitar, finger pickin and your slide, but also recording it. Your tone and sound are always impeccable. Wish I did it half as well as you do.
