Just got my recording set up back online after a loooong time. The mix is a little rough as I haven't recorded in a while and am getting used to logic pro x. Hope you enjoy the first part in the series of the Machine.

Bang dat left hand line...
Interesting work! Wonderful harmony on the opening. The first 2:30 works great, the stuff that follows seems somewhat distant from the opening. Which might be a quirk for some... the pacing seems right to my ear.
Thanks for sharing yer work with us here.

Sounds pretty damn good to me.
Logic pro X is awesome! And this piece is...well...kind of EPIC. Love the dramatic opening. dark and ominous. Powerful guitar work!

Looking forward to more.

Be well friend!

Thank you!
Yes. I am in love with it. SO much to learn.....SO much to do! I was using logic express 9 before, so a pretty big step from there. Thanks for taking the time to listen :)

Some really interesting bits
and some parts I didn't care for but I think it works well as a soundtrack. Kind of operatic. At about the 4 minute mark, where the heavier part starts, it sounds (to me) like a buildup to some real fireworks... that don't happen. Maybe that comes in the next part. Cool start to an extended work; I look forward to more even tho this is probably my least favorite genre ;-) Cheers.
