Nuclear Winter: (re)magination Challenge

Imaginary soundtrack to a dystopian future nuclear winter

2nd attempt at the (re)magination Challenge

This version uses midi scripters in logic audio. On this occasion, it is only playing 5% of the notes in the midi file randomly

Further manipulations with the audio file - pitch shift, reverse, swathes of reverb

and you end up with this chilly nuclear winter soundtrack

This is pretty nifty too! I could imagine a series wherein you take sonatas from different composers and create tonal landscapes from each, maybe varying the timbre of the synths to tease various moods out of the resulting harmonic swells.

...pun intended of course; but not at all to make light of the subject matter. This is as ominous as the threat that continues to be real. (Listening to this just might have put another kink in my colon!)

Well done man...

Take care!

Effective soundscape
I really enjoy the sound you're creating. Clean, full and evocative.

Absolute Stillness
A place where lives only the shadows of where we've been, the ghosts of what we were, and the scratches of what we once hoped we'd be. Our future end, a dead stillness where only the gray sky moves across what is nothing more than frozen footprints of lost hope.

A musical 'absolute zero of the soul' indeed.

when this started
I thought the sound was coming from behind me such a cool effect, I can feel the cold surround me tucked nicely in a pile of ash. I would think there would be this silence not knowing if it is coming from your own head or not
