A couple of days late, but it's been 13 years here at MacJams.

I'm still here. What else can I say except...

We write the words and sing the songs
And the music plays along
Feel the beat go on and on
I can’t believe it

Where did the time go rushing by
Gone before out very eyes
And now the day comes back again
I can’t conceive it it

Lucky number thirteen

Lucky number thirteen

The music plays we write the songs
We’ve been singing all along
Our friends are here but some are gone
into the setting sun

We find our way when times are dim
But we all come back again
And when we start to fade away
We’ll keep on singing

Lucky number thirteen

Lucky number thirteen

Play the music
sing the songs
Know you’ll miss them
when they’re gone
Light the fire
for all to see
We’ll go down
in history

Unlucky number?
Thanks for sharing, yer power pop chops are still working. The production is on this one is effective. The flange sound on the guitar recalls a time long ago, in a good way...
The vocals are pleasant, perhaps a bit uneven in parts, but the work ya did on here shows up.

of cool surprises these days. I hear what Vic heard and it brought back general memories of the era. I was pretty much inclined to play it loud even wo the suggestion.

Love it! I first came to MJ in late 2005. Left for a few months, then came back and stayed till 2011. Gone for six years and now back to stay I hope! So I can relate...Kinda...

Cool tune my friend! Glad you're still here!

Be well!

I listened to this a couple of times .. and then had to go out to run some errands. I should say, "Walk some errands," as I had a number of neighborhood places to hike to. All the way, in and out of several places, your song kept playing in my head. It has "sticking power."

In thirteen years here you've posted a copious number of songs and left an abundance of valuable comments. You have good reason to celebrate the milestone.
