Recordering Well, at a good 8 minutes times 12 that comes to about 2 hours. A little more because a couple of parts took more than one attempt. But basically three nights, a good hour per session. Of course that was after I first wrote out the whole score, which I did over a good weekend. Arranging a piece doesn't take that long, since all the material already exists. Five It is hard to hear how many voices are in such a polyphonic texture. Listening for alternating subgroups should give you some indication. It's 12. Sopranino, two sopranos/altos/tenors/basses/great basses, and one contra bass. Check out my latest song called Ten minutes

Night Owl Now we know how you spend your nights : ) Oddly, I almost never record anything at night. I generally write and record music in the morning, usually after starting the day with a cup of coffee. Maybe because that is when my energy levels are at their highest? This piece is delightful.
