Carol of the Basses

 Genre: Holiday

Get Flash to see this player.

This is a version of my favorite Christmas carol - Carol of the Bells - except, instead of bells I used... wait for it...

BASSES! (There was a hint in the title.)

In this, I used all four of my basses. They are:

A Yamaha 5-string
A Steinberger Spirit
My trusty old friend my Peavey Foundation (which I've had more then 30 years now)
And my newest addition - an Ibanez Mikro (the purple one)

And, no, that picture wasn't easy to take.

Just what I needed. A little bottom for my holiday spirit.

Enjoyed, Thanks for sharing,

Big bottom!
Nice job on keeping that many low frequencies straight. The occasional minor second from a seventh chord comes out sounding just fine.

My only quibble is around 0:43 where there just a few too many clashes in a row. For my taste.

Great picture too...
Neat concept, nice execution. I must ask, did you loop the "Bells" part that plays throughout - or did you play it the whole time? Thanks for sharing!
