Lyrics
I'd give a year of my life just to be with you
Seeing your face for one second would do
This place is so cold since you've been gone
I have no place that I can call home
Refr: You know it took quite a while
But I'm back on my track
Now I know it's time that I realize
There's no turning back
No turning back!
No need to tell that times were hard
Who was going to mend my broken heart
They say that you learn and they say that you grow
I think that Bull**** , but I just don't know
Refr.
You know this feeling of loss, it won't go away
You're under my skin each and every day
The valley's been deep and the mountain so high
I can see a ray of light in the sky
Refr.
Refr.

The music reminds me of the Doobie Brothers. Would have been good to turn Bingsolex loose for a bit. I guess you're happy that you have gotten over feelings for someone, and things are looking better, except that the feeling of loss won't go away (?). It's a little confusing but, anyway, nice work, you and the band.
