There is an acorn flying in the wind
doeesnt know its end or where it can begin
far away it sees it insanity, or its destiny
But still it goes on
crimson skies behind it as it flows

And it said to me

I can hear the echoes in the city streets
The cars are speeding by and the people can deceive
Finds a park and a place to rest

Face the cold and the storms
and a tree will be born

There is an acorn sitting in the park, silently
Years have passed since I have gone away
Far away it sees its destiny, in entirety
But close enough to know there is nothing more to say

But still it goes on
holding onto roots its made deep into the ground

And it says to me

Time stands still but its still steals away, like a thief
hurry on the next one but its always out of reach
Thanks again for stopping by
search your face but its gone
and a tree will be born

Into the wind
The confident acoustic work drives the song along nicely. I like the harmonies and background vocals. I also like what the bass is doing. Unfortunately the song cuts out just before the 3 minute mark and continues in almost silence from then on. Perhaps you should delete this and repost? Take care.
